The tea parties turn out to be some pretty intense things. Also serious. With all my respect, I believe that any tea party can be more calm and fun than it is thought to be.
Invite a few of your closest friends, preferably no more than 5. That way your attention can be divided between fewer people and still be enough for everyone since it’s a party, not simply a date or whatever, where you gather and talk about what happened during the weekend.
No. This is a teaparty.
There have to be lots of different kinds of tea so that your friends can choose. Luckily, if one of your parents is a teaholic, you have nothing to worry about. (if not, you just need to go to the closest store and get some).
You also need to prepare enough honey, spoons, tea cups, sugar (brown and white) and lots of sweets like cupcakes or cookies.
Or better yet, when it comes to food that you’re not sure your friends like, tell them to bring over something for everyone. That way you won’t have to spend more money than you already have and everyone will be thrilled.
After that comes the other, non-related-to-consumables part. Entertainment. You need to choose the best songs that fit the occasion. Mostly something relaxing and something with a chill note. There mustn’t be any tension whatsoever and this is the best way to make sure of that. So simply put on nice quiet music that everyone would enjoy. (yes, even your grandma and your 5-year old brother)
When your guests finally arrive, show them in with a smile and… let the relaxing vibe of the tea party take you away.
Don’t forget though, you can always do something to make it even better… something like spiking the tea or… putting one or two extra ingredients in the sweets.
I’m so bored i could just sleep on the huge table in the workplace. I fell so unsatisfied because of the complete lack of any sweet foods for an entire week.
There is this incredibly tangible depression that has taken over my entire body and being and only now do I realize what addictive drugs chocolate and sugar are.
What I want each one of you to know is that you should never, NEVER, EVER!!!! deprive yourself of the simple everyday pleasures. The moment you realize that you can’t have what you’re used to be living with, this annoying feeling of depression and rage and frustration takes over and doesn’t leave you alone until you’ve finally become a completely sad and miserable person.
You know how every time you hear the phrase, I’d rather you gave me something you made yourself and put emotion into it than something you bought from the firs store you saw you’re like: Bitch Please.
Don’t be. Truth is that if what you made for your friend, parent or lover is really made with time, feeling, emotion and an original idea (flexible on the original) they will love it no matter how much you suck at it (or simply fail).
The moment a person acknowledges the fact that they are special there is nothing but a good emotion that goes through their entire body.
So, take note. If a special person has a celebration soon, do your best to make them happy… on your own.
Every day we have thousands of tasks that need handling. Some people have those things at work, others at school, and there are even people that do neither one and still have quite a busy schedule.
What can always make our day a little bit better and help us relax is home made food.
Imagine yourself finally getting home after a tiresome day and all you can think about is how mad you are at your boss or teacher, or how tired you are, or how you could have been so much more productive and how you could have done things another way; now imagine yourself in the kitchen, with your favourite music on, making your most favourite dish in the world. Imagine how you can finally calm down and concentrate on something as positive as that… personally I lo~ove the feeling.
Eating the food you made, right there and then, makes your day end better.
Just something to think about from the Home Made Series! HAha!!
“Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities.
The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.”—Albert Enstein
Each time we enter the Coputer room in order to have an IT class where we can study about HTML, Visual Basic, Paint.net and what not, the first thing we do is log on to the internet, go to facebook or whatever and never ever pay attention to what the teacher says.
You lknow what the best part is?
The best part is that they can’t do anything about it. They can’t shut off the computers from the master button; they can’t turn off the internet ‘cause it’s not wireless…
So yeah. Right now I am in Tumblr and there’s nothing they can say to me that would make a difference.
Well, we all know that some love stories never end well. There is something about them, though, that makes us keep on reading and reading until we realize that we can’t stop.
Imagine the story of a crazy girl who meets an even crazier boy… who turns out to be a huge drunk and altogether a complete mess. After some days spent together the girl realizes that the boy is really interesting and smart, and nice and all those amazing things that make us fall for a person.
She finds out that this 98% weird person and 2% dream boy is head over heels in love with her. What can she do? what can she say? How can she react? Could she really change him or is this hidden-lunatic-insane-punk-rock-intellectual going to keep wasting himself until it’s irrevocable? (or is it already irrevocable?)
Something tells her she could try. There’s no harm in trying, is there?
